So guess what? This dog was abandoned by my neighbor two doors down who just foreclosed. Can you believe that? Scruffy (we've named him now) is the friendliest little dog, he's probably about 9 years old, and weighs about 5 lbs and they left him to fend for himself! Well, he's freshly washed and groomed and we're going to foster him for now. All you animal lovers out there: it's probably not a bad idea to check your neighborhood's newly vacated / foreclosed homes to make sure there are no abandoned pets. I know I'll be checking.... |
