I was driving down the 347 the other day and saw a truck carrying dead cows.  The truck said on the side "croaked cattle".  Does anyone know anything about this?  Very disturbing!

A word to the wise ain't necessary -- it's the stupid ones that need the advice.

LOL... they were proabably dead on the side of the 238 from "free range cattle" that got hit by cars.. or something liek that.
I would hate to think that the dead cattle came from our GREAT cow smell producing local farms.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

awhile back, we were driving on the 84 around 6am past the farms and I saw a bunch of cows "Sleeping" right outside the gates where the other cattle were.....I had a stupid moment and said "Oh my gosh! how did those cows get out of the pen?" come to realize that they drag the dead ones outside of the fench and then I guess croaked cattle comes around and picks them up.

Yep, that's where they were most likely coming from and they were probably taking them to the dog food factory.

They put up a bunch of ugly boxes and JESUS people bought em!

They are dead cattle from the feed lots. They usually come down Papago Rd to Ralston Rd then to 238 to the dump. It is common.
