The landscapers forgot to lock my back gate and my 3 year old white German Shep mix ROSCOE got out last night around 6:30 pm. I heard him barking at the gate and went in the backyard to see what he was barking about but by then he'd already taken off down the street. We live in Rancho El Dorado. He was last seen running across Smith-Enke in the direction of Province. He loves kids, women, female dogs and pups but is very skittish of men and male dogs. He was wearing a red collar with rabies tags on it. I've owned him since he was just a few weeks old and he's never been loose, so he has no experience with being out and about in the world or around traffic, etc. If you see him, please call me 520.424.3157 as I have someone out looking for him today, and he can be there right away if someone spots Roscoe. He got out before I gave him his dinner last night, too, so I am sure he's hungry and thirsty. I've notified Kim and Animal Control and Maricopa Wells, too....Thanks everyone in advance for your help! He is the dog in my avatar.

Roscoe has been spotted--less than a block away from our old house where he lived for 2 years!!! Now lets hope we can catch him!!! Thank you SOOOOOO much to the lady who called me, in my haste I completely forgot to ask you for your name!!! A huge THANK YOU to you!!!!!! That's why Maricopa is such a great place to live, people who care enough to help!!!! Thanks also to Carolyn for helping me get up and running on 85239.com first thing this morning so I could post about Roscoe!!! Fingers crossed he stays out of trouble long enough to be caught....

This won't help much now ,but  I'm pretty sure I saw him in Cobblestone last night around 7- 7:30pm.  He had two kids trying to catch him so we thought he was theirs.  You may want to check Cobblestone to see if they put fliers up in case they did catch him.  We are in the first development to the right when you come in right across from the Rancho entrance.  I'll keep my eye out for him.

Thank you Jaynie...Roscoe is home safe and sound!!! He is skittish and it looks like someone may have caught him because his collar is missing. It was on loose and he may have wiggled free. I am so grateful to to lady who called me and to all of you who kept an eye out for him!!!!
