Yeah, our puppies stay outside most of the day, too. I bring them in to feed them a couple times a day and make sure they have water, but the last few days I kept them inside all day, I got no work done because they kept getting into stuff and then fighting, and then right after I let them out, I noticed they pottied 3 times in the house (they are about 90% potty-trained normally..I don't know what they were thinking that day.) So if it is particularly hot out I bring them inside and have to separate them, one in the laundry room and one in the bathroom. I think they are happier outside for most of the day. It sucks, but I feel like I need a full-time babysitter for them sometimes, lol.

I might get them a little play pool; we will see how long it takes for them to tear it apart or try to drown each other. Honestly, these dogs are silly and do the oddest things, so I wouldn't it put it past them for something crazy to go down with a pool and no supervision. I plan on having to play lifeguard/bouncer for a while with a kiddie pool.

If you people would pay attention to your pets and provide them with the proper training, your dogs wouldn't be misbehaving in your house.  I know that there are a lot of unloved pets without homes, but why even have a pet if you are just going to leave it outside all day?  What kind of a life is that?  Why do people get pets and then get rid of them a few months later?  You made that decision live with it!  Don't take it back to the humane society or to the pound...or worse the desert surrounding Maricopa!
