I recently brought in a stray cat that I could not keep ( we already have 1 dog and 2 cats) and I could not find a home for. Does anyone know how long the Humane Society gives for a cat to be adopted before they put it down? I'm feeling extremely guilty and sad about taking him in. They've posted his picture on the website and I was going to monitor that -but if it comes down in the next couple of weeks I hope that's because he was adopted.
