I don't know if anyone may have any suggestions or advice.

My cat is 10 years old and has never really had any medical problems.  I recently took her to the vet to get her nails clipped and they told me she had some kind of infection in her nail bed.  They asked me to come back the next day.  I did.  They took some pieces of the nail and this black crusty stuff that was surrounding her nail bed.  The vet tested her for everything...ringworm. Fungus, infection, bacteria.  I have literally spent over $500.00 on medication and Vet bills.

The vet had me soak her paws in this blue solution for 10 minutes 2 times a day followed by oral medication and drops that were placed into her nail bed.  Now her nails are splitting and cracking and breaking away from her nail bed.

She doesn't seem to be in any serious pain, but I worry what will happen to her nails?  Will they grow back? Could this cause an even worse problem down the line??

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!
Has anyone had the same problems??

I would call your vet and ask as many questions as needed that is why they are there. They should answer them all for you! Good luck
