Alert | Hello,
I am a foster/adoptive mom of several children, including two disabled children. I'm interested in finding a respite provider. I have contacted Arizona's Aid to Special Kids and they do cover the Maricopa area. I am wondering if anyone is a trained respite provider or is willing to be trained to be a respite provider. You need to get CPR/First Aid, fingerprint clearance card, trained in Child Development and Special Needs. You would get to work one-on-one with a child...I'm incredibly flexible on times and looking to work with someone 10 to 24 hrs per week. Childcare experience/nanny experience will be needed, special needs experience is a plus!!! I have a two year old and five year old that both need a respite provider, they can be the same person but doesn't have to be...If anyone has info on how to find a respite provider, please post or pm me.
Thanks so much for your help!
