I'm looking for any recommendations on swim lessons for the kids. I have a 4 month and 21 month old. In town or Chandler area would be great.

Thanks!

I am so thankful I found Gold Medal Swim School. They do have a website and are located on Ray Rd behind Makutus Island. I just started my 4 yr old and 2 yr old. The class sizes I think is what I am so comfortable with and the number of teachers in the pool at one time is GREAT. Both our classes have 3-4 kids to 2 teachers. They also have a supervisor on deck at all times that walks up and down the deck monitoring each class. Even if you do go there it is so worth checking it out. The safety is what got me to do it.

We go to the Chandler/Gilbert YMCA (near the 202 and Dobson). Very affordable and you don't need a membership to register your kids for the classes (although the membership is fabulous!). With the membership they have free toddler classes like dance, tumbling and swimming. Good Luck!

My sister in law swears by SwimKids (guadalupe and the 101, I think). I called them, and they were way more expensive than I could afford for that kind of thing.

what does the Y charge?

If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

Gold Medal Swim School is the best! My son loves it there, and the teachers and everyone are so nice! We have had in swimming lessons since he was 6 mons old and he is now 22 mons. They charge by the month, I think it's $59 per month, well worth it.

We are looking to partner with Gold Medal once again on some winter programs. We are attempting to generate an interest list to determine the structure of the program. Please contact me directly at mmcdonald@cityofmaricopa.net

We ended up taking our boys to the Gold Medal facility in Chandler. We were more than pleased with our first lesson. Surely something like this in Maricopa would be welcomed by many.
