Alert | | This is really embarrassing, but I guess I have no choice. My husband was supposed to do a side job today so we had a little bit of money to get us through until Monday evening (pay time). I have two girls in diapers and I have 7 diapers as of right now. Not sure what to do..either if someone has some good advice on how to get through this until Monday evening or if someone has maybe some diapers that their kids grew out of just laying around...Not much....I just need to figure something out or come up with an extra 5-10 diapers. size 4 or 5. I am so sorry....and a little humiliated right now. But if someone can help..I would appreciate it..if not, I completely understand too!!! Thank you.

Alert | Since youve gotten the help you needed with the diapers I guess I dont need to post but to say we have all been in this kind of situation. I know I sure have. I actually was in a rather bad situation were I didnt have enough money not long ago... life just gets the best of you sometimes. Hold your head high though and dont find shame in asking for help when its needed.
God Bless you and your family. If you ever need anything [though I cant offer much really] or ever need to talk Im willing to listen. As a mother of 4 young kids, I think I will understand.

Alert | | It takes alot to ask for help on an open forum, but I will say if you don't, nobody will know you need it. This town has wonderful families who help each other out in any way they can. I say post away! The worst thing that could happen is you get no response, however I don't see that happening here. If you need anything PM me. If I can help you I will too.

Alert | | absolutely no need to be embarassed. everyone has tough times. i have posted on this forum in the past asking for things i needed, specifically rides when my driver's license was suspended. people are really sweet on here. i have been busy all weekend, so just read this today, but if you still need any help, please contact my by PM, i'll be out most of the day, but will be back this afternoon. also, if anything like this comes up again in the future, try freecycle.org, join the maricopa group. it is yet another great group of people, and that is what they do, trade off things that one person no longer needs. it was started by a bunch of hippie dippy weirdos like me to help keep stuff out of our landfills, and lemme tell ya, i have gotten a TON of stuff for our soon-to-arrive baby from freecyclers. they are some of the coolest people ever.

I have walked in your shoes before and honey don't be embarrassed or too proud! Anyway...if my youngins were still in diapers I would drive extra's to your house right now. My other half was just out of work doing a transfer with the PD and we never antisipated it taking 6 long months, so I know how you feel. You can go to a local church and they will often donate if you are in need. Even if you do not belong to that church, they ususally do not turn you away. Find a church that offers a food pantry and they may be able to help you with other needs for the babies as well. If I can help or you still need a few diapers please let me know, PM me. | | Live every day as if it were your last and smile!
