 Alert | Its funny you mention race day....
I have a 7 year old stepson with Down Syndrome. He challenged my patience for a long time when he and his mother moved in with me.
One of the things that really warmed him up to me was my love of NASCAR. Now if there is even a commercial with a race car on, he will not let me change the channel. It has really helped us bond. He will sit there on Sunday and watch the entire race with me.
My other son will be a race fan too, I am sure of it. He was born the weekend of the Sharpie 500, and we watched our first Busch Race together within 24 hours of his birth. | | | |
