it's been 2 full weeks of summer vacation and my kids are bored. i can't say i blame them. it's to dang hot to go outside, even to play in the water! they have exhausted our craft stash, played the doh out of the playdoh, read nearly everything we own, watched all the dvd's. they have even resorted to taking NAPS!! OMG!!! We can't drive into town to do anything. Any other suggestions? We are all getting stir crazy!

mine do board games, play online like webkins or ty, we make stuff in the kitchen together, make play forts, have friends over to play with

When I was a kid, my mom was always having us make things. She was so creative! We would make things out of 2 liter bottles, or strafoam cups, dry noodles, all sorts of thing. Do a search on the internet, I bet you can find something to stimulate their little minds.
