Hey! There is going to be a free swim day at the Maricopa Rotary Pool (next to the Library) this Saturday  the 7th (10a-4p) to celebrate opening day and also to raise money for the local swim team the Maricopa "Barracudas". There will be games in the park, food & drink.

They have or are still in the process of some renovations on the bathrooms and its rumored that more overall renovations are to come for next summer.

** Also, if you have children between the ages of 5-18 who can swim at least 1 lap of any 4 competitive strokes (free style, butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke) then join the Maricopa Barracudas Swim Team! The season is 6 weeks and includes Saturday morning meets, the cost is $55 per swimmer. If you are interested or need more info you can call the Rotary Club 520-494-3636 or pm me!

This is the 3rd year in a row my son has done swim team (last year it was Gold Medal) but this year its Maricopa Barracudas again. He really enjoys it and helps keep him busy all summer! Hope to see you guys there...
