Yeah, it's a good thing Sony held off for a year releasing it. That turned into a real marketing Coup!!

hmm well i guess they could have released it a yr early like MS&used shoddy components resulting in a 30+% failure rate so yeah i guess i see your point *rolls eyes*

the ps3 was just too expensive&lacked a lot of really good games, that has changed this holiday season. now its right on par price wise with the 360 and has almost a good game lineup which i might add, sucked until gears of war was launched about a yr into the 360s lifecycle. i dare say that SONY's 1st party studio naughty dogs upcoming game Unchartedrakes Forturne, is a better game visually and gameplay wise than GOW is.

You sure it's not 61% or maybe 95%.

61% Yikes!!!

Funny that I have an original with thousands of hours that has never even hiccuped!! Wonder if a couple of those failures might have had to do with idiots placing them on carpets, closing them in cabinets, or juggling with discs inside. My second 360 (yes, I have 2) is over a year old and nada for failures.

I must be the luckiest 360 owner in the world!!!

So when did you buy your POS3 *rikimaru*. And how long were you on the waiting list for it?

well i have known 2 people who neither juggled their 360, not had it enclosed in an confined area nor used it on carpet and they suffered from the RRD issue so not everyone is an idiot, wel i think anyone who buys a 360 is an idiot but those are 2 different topics.

i was number one on the list for my 60 gig ps3 at the casa grande gamestop store, and proud of it. the ps3 is an amazing piece of hardware and i love it everyday. literally *wink wink*

That is just soooo wrong. The PS3 is a very stylish piece of decor if nothing else though...

Imagine two PS3 "brains" working together, splitting every task in half...hence doubling your speed. Imagine some machines with four PS3 brains working together.

Then imagine all of the memory of a PS3 on a single card that is dedicated to just graphics.

Then imagine the machine plugged into your 7.1 surround stereo......oh yeah......

Then imagine hundreds of GB at your disposal, with some games developed that take up more memory than 5-8 PS3 games put together.

Now imagine a huge online community, that codes up modifications to a game, extending it's play life for years.

Now take that machine and have it useful for word processing, website design, video editing, even creating games themselves.

Hence the gaming PC cometh............. <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>
