Alert | | Here's what happened - I recently got an IPod as a birthday gift from my husband and because I was a novice at downloading ITunes, it was inadvertently saved to a shared work directory on my laptop. I received an email yesterday that I had to get it off of there and I thought I followed the directions for exporting it to my C drive and changing the default drive to C:\mymusic. However, when I went back into Itunes - none of my music shows up!!!! If I use "My computer" I can see the ITunes library file and my playlists so how do I get them to appear in my library???? Thanks so much!!! | | Adversity does not build character - it reveals it.

Alert | | Sorry, I can't help. Your best resource would be the help section of iTunes. Under support there is a Popular Discussions section. It is a forum like this. You can look at the topics and see if someone was having the same problem, or post your problem and people will help you out. It really work for me last time I had trouble. | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Locate the iTunes icon in your start menu. Hold down the shift key while clicking the icon. Continue holding that key until iTunes opens a dialog box. Then click on the "Choose Library" button and find your iTunes Library File. | | Joined: Jul 2005
