Has anyone had some major Orbitel issues in the past few days?

I play World of warcraft and up until 2 days ago, other than lag every so often things were fine. Then 2 days ago the internet has started disconnecting every 10-15 minutes. Its driving me nuts, and anyone who plays WoW knows that causes huge problems.. can't run instances, raid etc... Im going nuts.

Checked everything on my end... called Orbitel last night, they reset some crap but still the same problems.. constantly disconnecting..

Has anyone else run into this?

Still having problems?

I noticed problems today with Orbitel. Are they just growing too fast for their pipe to handle?

This is probably a different issue, but are these speedtests good monitors of issues?

Sometimes, yes they are. Another good source of speed tests is Speakeasy:

Generally yes. I'd use two or three to make sure there isn't something strange going on. Also be aware that some ISPs (*cough*Orbitel*cough*) will purposefully not throttle the speed test sites, so it looks like you're getting the download speed they claim.

Yes, me too. I run a business out of my home, so I will have to switch to Qwest, which I HATE but cant' afford to have these issues.
