Because of the wonderful cell phone connects I receive on the backside of RED (NOT!) I need a way to communicate cheaply with the outside work world without dropping the call every 15 minutes. I will be calling from our area code 520 to 480. I need to call into work once a week for a meeting that lasts an hour or two. Otherwise the phone will be unplugged as I have great disdane for land lines and the sales calls that go along with them. Any suggestions on the cheapest way to do this? I don't use Qwest, I have orbitel.

If you already have BB service then try Vonage. I have been using Vonage for about Three years and it works great. Especially cool with a good quality wireless phone. In addition, you can get cellular handsets that will use cellular service as well as your wifi system at home for calls.

Vonage is huge bandwidth hog. You can adjust it, but it never worked well for me. Try SKYPE. I use it everyday. If you have relative in a different state you can select a local number for them to call.
Only about $30.00 a year http"//www.skype.com
Good luck.
