This thread has taken a turn for the worse now that "Chad" has chimed in.

I have been the AT&T/Cingular for more then 10 years now. I have always been happy with their service. I chose them because they had the best coverage then and in my opinion still do. Of course this also takes into account that I travel the country for work. Through the years there are always been minor coverage issues in certain places. As far as Maricopa goes, in town I have no problem. In my house, the upstairs is great, outside is great, downstairs is a little weak and I have a few dropped calls, but nothing that gets me worked up.

We use Verizon and LOVE IT. We've been very pleased.
I use a Blackberry for work, that is on TMobile, and calls drop constantly. My mom also has TMobile, and when she was out here, she couldn't get a signal at all!

Get Verizon - that way your wife and I can yap all we want without costing us a dime.
Hee hee.

My vote goes to Sprint/Nextel. Granted, I have the "super mega-mega-meya" plan (sorry, Trey Parker, et. al.). My phone bill is $250 a month for two phones, 3,000 anytime minutes, no roaming, no long distance, unlimited Internet access, etc. - but at least it's a PREDICTABLE $250 a month. I used to be with Alltel, Qwest, Verizon, AT&T, etc., etc. My old plans would give me one bill one month, and a different one the next. The worst was Qwest - I had a bill for over 600 bucks one month! Ouch! I know Qwest has improved their service since (I even have their DirecTV/Internet/Regular-Phone-For-Alarm-System-Only bundle) but not enough to trust them with my cell phone bill.

I do experience a "dead zone" on the Maricopa/Casa Grande Hwy., but other than that, my reception is fine if it's not storming outside. And, trust me, sometimes a dropped call can be a good thing (say, if I'm talking to my ex, LOL!).

<---Look, Ma! I sit, I stay, I match the carpet!
