I noticed one of my shows didn't record properly earlier on today; I didn't think much of it, as I have TiVo, and have probably 3 weeks solid recorded to watch...but this evening I went to browse the movie channels and every single one of them had a 'temporarily unavailable' notice... Called up the customer service line, which is basically an answering service...and the guy told me that he heard the owner hadn't paid the bill for the premium channels! So in effect, all their customers who subscribed to the premium channels are screwed until at least Tuesday, due to Memorial Day. That means no 'The Tudors', which is my favorite show on Showtime. I've had it with Maricopa broadband. This is the very last straw. I'm biting the bullet and getting Qwest DSL and DirecTV. |
