I noticed one of my shows didn't record properly earlier on today; I didn't think much of it, as I have TiVo, and have probably 3 weeks solid recorded to watch...but this evening I went to browse the movie channels and every single one of them had a 'temporarily unavailable' notice...

Called up the customer service line, which is basically an answering service...and the guy told me that he heard the owner hadn't paid the bill for the premium channels! So in effect, all their customers who subscribed to the premium channels are screwed until at least Tuesday, due to Memorial Day. That means no 'The Tudors', which is my favorite show on Showtime.

I've had it with Maricopa broadband. This is the very last straw. I'm biting the bullet and getting Qwest DSL and DirecTV.

What other fiascos have you had? I don't use them for TV but for Internet they are the best in Maricopa hands down.

Well thats sucks, It really sucks when your HOA is contracted with them and you have no choice, but to have them for cable or pay two cable bills!

That might be enough for the HOAs to break the long term contract with MBB.

has anyone ever heard or tried "Transcend Broadband"? I keep seeing advertisments and was wondering how their service is? I am a MBB costomer as well, with having them as my only option.

I went to Trancends website but saw nothing about TV, only phone and internet.

Besides, I have had MBB ever since moving here 2 years ago, and only have had minor issues. Internet has been great compared to Qworst and Cox.
