The wife and I went out last week to have dinner, but as I sat down I immediately felt like leaving. I guess the A/C wasn't working that day, it was terribly warm inside. They sat near the window at a cramped table pinned in by pizzas and screaming kids. I took a brief look at the menu, but I couldn't take the environment anymore so we left.

I wonder though, is the food good here? The prices are moderate from what I saw - $8-$10 and entree? I did feel sorry for the little kid that was bringing us bread to the table when we were leaving. Sorry guy. Maybe we'll visit again during the non-peak time in the winter.

I thought the atmosphere was good. Salad was great. Pizza cheese tastes processed like Costco. If they change that, I'm sold.

I think we were there that same day...it was SSOOOOO freakin hot in there I thought it might be cooler to go eat on the patio.

However, their food is really good...so we stayed. I am a huge fan of chicken marsala and I order it at almost every italian restaurant I go to. Theirs is exceptional! (a little salty though- but great flavor) Also, another favorite of mine there is the herb mix they serve with the olive oil and balsamic- who needs an appetizer when the bread is awesome! If you like pasta- they serve it in a huge bowl, and its enough to share for a reasonable price.....All in all, I'd have to say its the best food compared to ALL the sit down restaurants out here.

How strange, we went to eat there last Friday night and left since it was so hot! We asked the hostess if she could turn off some of the spot type lights-she said no-we left. We went to Arena with a couple of friends that ate at Brooklyn Brothers and were leaving and said it was too hot and to go elsewhere.

Never had the heat problem. But we always enjoy eating at Brooklyn Boys. Haven't had a bad meal there yet.

We LOVE Brooklyn Boys. There aren't too many places that all 6 of us love anywhere in Phoenix so we're lucky to have something right here in Maricopa.

Have gotten take-out pizza and noticed how hot the place was. I think there is an A/C problem there.

We ate there once. It was hot inside, the hot wings were very dry, the pizza was nothing to write home about, but the service was ok. We do not plan on going back anytime soon. Oh, but we did get the bread.

We love there food, go at least once a week. They are waiting for shades/tinting, blinds and fans to help cool it down. The service has always been great.

We went there last Saturday. When we sat down, we noticed it was warm in there. By the time we had finished our dinner, we wanted to leave asap because we were burning up. It made me feel good that my husband was hot too and it wasn't just me though. LOL
We ordered a pizza and it was delicious!

First of all, its BROOKLYN BOYS! If you're going to bash on a place, at least get the name right. And second of all, the owners are really great people and they are trying their hardest to make the place comfortable for everyone and an enjoyable place to be in. They have made arrangements to take care of the heat, its just taking a while. In addition, the food is amazing and if you feel different don't eat there. I think its ridiculous that you all have nothing better to do then get on this website and talk trash about good people. Have any of you ever tried to open up your own restaurant? I DON'T THINK SO! It can't be easy and I think its really unfair to judge them. Their at least trying. If you don't like the place-don't go! Maricopa has limited options in regards to fine dining and if you all don't want to take advantage of this great great great place then I feel sorry for you!
