Alert | | Bad bad idea! My dear father decided last Wednesday to pick a mushroom off a golf course in PA and eat it. Smart huh? Well he ended up in the hospital with mushroom poisoning for 5 days. Turns out he ate an "Angel of Death" or "Deathcap" mushroom which he thought was a button mushroom. I wonder how he ever thought that was a good idea. Did he just think "Hmmmm...a mushroom, I think I'll eat it". He's okay but I think I'll be sending him a field guide to Pennsylvania mushrooms for Christmas. | | | |
