Hey GG, I just got home after spending happy hour (plus a couple of extra hours) at Raceway. They were doing GREAT business tonight -- the restaurant was packed and the bar was hopping.

Menu is about the same but their specials are ALWAYS worth a try. The chicken fried steak is wonderful -- and hubby had a turkey pot pie last week that was to die for.

Too far.  I can get to Chandler restaurants faster than way out in the middle of nowhere.

Unlikely, it is roughly 7 miles away.

By the time that you would get to the 10 freeway you would have already been there and sitting down.

Add 20 min for the train.

They one a couple of arcade type games and a stuff animal hook and grab thingy thing.  They should have fun but bring lots of change. 

Went there for a late lunch yesterday. Had the Philly Cheese Steak once again, and it's superb! Someone had ridden their horse in and hitched him up while they were inside. You've gotta love it! Hidden Valley has so much charm that it's a real pleasure to live out there.

Raceway is the "official" food vendor of the Maricopa Mutt March on Saturday (March 8) at Pacana Park.

Rand and Jeanna will be serving up breakfast burritos, meat burritos, and home-cooked dog treats.
