Alert | Rand's talking about the possibility of a hitching post or even a small corral out back for those of us who might ride over!
Still gotta be careful though...... DUI while riding a horse on public road right-of-way IS possible! ;-)~
Three cheers for Rand for having the cajones to open this place! Finally an alternative to the Kalifornication going on in Maricopa!

Alert | I second that Jack... I am in Papago Buttes too by the way!
Rand reminded me that you can get a DUI on a tractor and I told him I have already been warned!
LOL

Alert | | Great food by the way. Tacos were wonderful. Service was excellent. TVs all over. Comfortable atmosphere. Heard they had quite a crowd on Friday. Patio could be a lot of fun!

Alert | | Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I've known Rand for a long time, and he does everything with class (of course, he's from Chicago!) Plus this place is in my neck of the woods - the magnificent Hidden Valley area! | | Proud conservatives happily living on our acreage in the beautiful mountains of Hidden Valley with no HOA.

Alert | | Went there on Sunday. Not crowded, but had a decent number of folks there for the afternoon. Jimmy helped us out and seems very excited about the place. The service was fantastic. Hopefully the place will catch on.

Alert | | So is this place more of just a bar/hangout place or is it a restaurant that you can actually go with family and eat at? Just wondering...

Alert | Tiffany, you can take the family. We specifically asked that question as we like to take our grandkids out to eat. There is a large sit-down area, and there is a bar area, although you can see what's going on in the bar from the sit-down area. There is also a wonderful outdoor patio and bar overlooking the magnificent Table Top Mountain at the south end of Hidden Valley. There is also a pool table on the patio.
We went there for lunch today and had a very good pizza. I'd hold it up to any other pizza in town. Their cook is from Connecticut, and he seems to have a very good handle on things.
Rand, the owner, is very open to suggestions, so if you do go and see anything that you would like or like changed, just let Rand know. I requested that he have green olives as an option for the pizzas, and he got right on the phone with his supplier to order them. Very accommodating!
I am so happy that this is in my neck of the woods (errrr desert)!

Alert | Greetings, I went there for lunch today. It was very good. It is a small town bar/restaurant atmosphere with a very simple menu. If your are looking for a TGI Friday's you will be going to the wrong place! Leave it alone! It is perfect as is. I met Rand and the staff. (Some faces you will recognize from elsewhere.) They currently have a beer/wine license right now. Their full liquor license was just approved. The liquor shelves are not yet stocked. They just finished hooking up the TV's while I was eating. The patio is not quite finished, but it will be a great place to hang out when it is. The rustic automobile decor is wonderful. I guess there is more to come for the patio.
Myself being from a small town, I felt right at home.
I will return tonight to make sure the beer is cold.
Enjoy it!
