Thanks for the memories, man! I know my Maricopa experience has been better because of you.

I know that many staff members log on here, so I wanted to create a thread where people could show how you all have impacted our community and our lives.

My personal thanks to Steph, Danielle, Stephanie, Cassie, Ashley, Alicia, Dan, Chris and everyone who made each visit very cool. And of course, Patrick who made a mini sundae like no other.

Our family wishes all of you the very best and if there is anything that we can do, let us know.

With all my respect,
Carl Diedrich

Great thread.

My family had nothing but the best experiences here.
We always enjoyed the many people that had a hard shift and sat down at our table to unwind. (I am looking at you Patrick, and 5 others.) Honestly, if everything was terrable, we would not have seen it. We came more for the people. Everyone treated us so nicely, we felt this place more like an extended home.
Many thanks for everything that EVERYONE did for us. I hope we were easy on you as well.
To us, many of you set the tone for Maricopa.

I do know that some of the staff is working at other places such as Native New Yorker and Harrah's. I guess we will have to venture out a bit to see y'all again. I will happily make that journey.
Please pm me and let me know how you are and where we can bother you. (That includes you, Mr. Harkness.)

Lovely idea, Carl.

Ramsey, thank you for some sweet memories. Your restaurant has been my first choice to both meet friends and to treat my family to dinner. I've been there about five times in the last two weeks alone. It was the one place in Maricopa that I could get my picky husband to go to without asking twice. He loved both the live music and the beer cheese soup! And my proclivity for your Long Islands is the stuff of legends.

We also appreciated your friendliness and how you'd sit with us and chat. And we were impressed and greatful for your willingness to ensure that we had a good experience. You're a good guy and my family is very sad that you have lost so much.

I want to encourage you to not give up; to see every setback as an opportunity to try something new. Your restaurant may not have been a financial success the entire time, but it brought something warm and accessible to the community. And that's priceless.

My whole family is really upset about this and I feel depressed . I feel like I lost a friend. We went there during their 2nd week open, and make it a special thing when we came to see the progress of our house. We also went to hang-out, meet friends for cocktails and to listen to music and dance and did I say have fun??!!!
It was always so fun to go there, and see friends, and of course Ramsey and Sherry.

My heart really feels so heavy, I know our family feels a tremendous loss. I know it may sound corney, but it is the truth...

Thanks for the memories, I am still wishing, hopin, and praying for a miracle, I thought it would be a landmark for Maricopa...

XOXOXOXOX

Ramsey, I just wanted to post here to say thank you all that you did in this short time for the community. Your resturant was our first experience with Maricopa when we moved here a year ago. It was like home for my wife Lori and I, we will miss you and your crew, especially Dan and Danielle (Princess).

We had alot of fun at your place and wish you the best.

Learn from this experience and keep fighting the fight! Many very successful people have set-backs, don't let this get you down. You did well and you where always on the right side of things with the community. Like passing out milk to the kids at the BBQ. Cinco De Mayo was a blast and it will be a shame to loose that as an annual event in Maricopa, the Bike run was awsome.

In your next adventure please keep us posted, as we want to support you in all that you do. If there is anything we can do please feel free to call or email 520-840-1017, ron@efiledrawer.com.

We will miss this portion of the adventure in life, but look forward to the next one that brings us back together.

Good luck Bro!

TAZ

P.S. To the Barclay Group, good luck with your next tenant as we will be looking for a non Barclay Group Tenant to support!

Ride it like you stole it!

It was fun while it lasted. Friday nights were a blast for me. I hope everyone had fun as well. Going to miss playing for everyone there. Ramsey had the right idea. This town needed something to do on the weekends and he offered it. I wish everyone the best of luck. To all of the staff at Ramsey's, you guys were awesome. Ramsey and Sherry, our family is going to miss going there for a bite to eat. We will see you around and remember that we are there for you guys.

As I said in my front page comment, Ramsey, you're a pioneer of modern Maricopa. Nobody can ever take that from you. Next time you decide to open up a place, my family and I will be waiting in line to get in.

Good luck to you!

Ramsey -

Thanks for all the great memories! As DD said you were a modern pioneer in Maricopa. This city lost a little piece of it's soul when the doors were closed. That loss will never be replaced.

Knowing you as I do I have no doubt you will land back on your feet in no time. If you need anything brother don't hesitate to call.

seriously, if Ramsey himself reads these threads, is this business completely lost or would an investor save the day? I was just wondering if raising the price of beer to $4 domestic & $6 coronas a bottle and each plate upped a buck or two, would it be a realistic save, or is it something he is willing to let die? just a question. I don't have the cash, but have some mid-west people I haven't talked to in a while that are always interested in "the family-oriented" business ops. I think all of us whom have enjoyed the community and love the opportunity to spend time with new neighbors would be willing to shell out a dollar or two more to keep Ramsey's alive... just a thought, anyone else in?

Okay, I haven't been here in a week and really must have missed something. I can tell that Ramsey's must be closing, but why? Shut down, moving elsewhere, what?
