Alert | | The pulled pork was out of this world. I thought the coleslaw was too bland, I like some zing in my coleslaw!

Alert | | I have to agree. The food is VERY good for the price. The meat is juicy and tender..cooked just right. At last check the hours were Fri-Sun Noon to 8pm.

Alert | | i like famous daves better, seriously think the oak is overpowering as a smoking wood. hickory or pecan wood is a better alternative imo. i iwll just stick to making spare ribs on the weber charcoal grill we have.... | | listened for, they cannot be heard;looked for, they cannot be seen; felt for, they cannot be touched: old ninja proverb

Alert | | I have 2 requests for Romy's: Use Sweet Baby Ray's for the BBQ sauce and add Baby Back Ribs to the menu. What does everyone think about that?

Alert | | Sweet Baby Ray's is in my opinion, the best BBQ sauce at the grocery store. I definitely love all the different flavors they have depending on what you are cooking. Honey Bears BBQ is still my favorite.

Alert | We tried them out today. A bit pricey! Beef ribs were nice. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Pulled pork was very good. Not wild about the sauce. Potato salad was not very good - too much vinegar. Beans were good, but need something to make them say Romys... Cole slaw was not done yet 30 minutes after opening.
So, 1/2 Chicken 6 Beef Ribs 1/2 lb pulled pork 16 oz Potato Salad 16 oz Beans
$38.00
I guess thats about the same as a platter at Famous Daves...
Good food. | | | |

Alert | | Okay. I retract my praise for Romys. I had the worst indigestion in years after eating there. Something obviously was "Not Right". Took three doses of Tums before sleep was achieved that night.
