Just when we think we are finally getting some place good to eat. Maybe the city should be getting back to work instead of raking people over the coals.

Jerome (Romy's BBQ),

Sorry Bro, City of Maricopa is to busy punishing drunk firefighters and doling out an $80K severance package to the ex-city mgr, to be concerned with your measly temporary use permit. I love the COPA!!

I want some BBQ!!!

Hey Maricopa, Romy's is back. We received our permit to operate and will be open this weekend and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from here on out. You can find us at Stagestop Marketplace on Maricopa/Casa Grande Highway unless we are doing a special event. We appreciate your past support and look forward to serving the best BBQ you have ever had. Tell all your friends that "WE ARE BACK".

Mmmmm BBQ. Good for you guys. Glad they gave the trailer a permit. There are few affordable options for a small mom and pop to open up around here. You found one!

Mr. Romy,

Finally, I got a chance to try some of your Bar-b-q! Stopped by today at around 12:30pm... there was another lady there with her son. Thanks for the complimentary cold water, it was really hot out... and thanks for letting me wait in my car after placing my order & bringing it out to me when it was done. My son loved the pork ribs, my pulled pork sandwich was really good-lots of meat! Tater salad & baked beans were also on point. We will save the whole chicken for tomorrow's dinner. I was impressed-good food & service with a smile! Now, how 'bout some dessert?! Maybe sweet potato pie... peach cobbler?! We will definitely be back. Take care & keep on smokin!

If y'all love Bar-b-q, you really need to try this place out!

I don't know how good their BBQ is, but I was almost side-swiped by their pick-up truck with ROMY'S BBQ on the back window.

Here I was driving Southbound on the 347 between stoplight 1 and 2 doing 45mph when their truck cut right in front of me doing at LEAST 20mph more than me.

You would think that when they are driving the truck WITH THEIR NAME ON IT, they would drive better.

Guess not.

man, I tell ya..

Romy's ribs ALONE are awesome.. I ate them with no BBQ sauce and then they were even better with the sauce..

I will definately be returning.. I have to try some of that pulled pork and the chicken!!
