OMG!!!!
We just left Teakwoods. The service was non existant!!!!
Anyone that has ever waited on my family knows that we are probably the easiest going diners around. I can't remember the last time I needed to turn something back.

Today, though...
We ordered a round of drinks, that took forever to come out. No big deal. The waitress apologized. We then ordered lunch.
My son's food came out. He ate. He finished.... No sign of our food....
After about 1 hour, we decided that we were done and it was time to go. We flagged the waitress down and asked for the check. She asked if we wanted our food boxed. No, we were done waiting and it was now time to go. She brought us the check, that included the non-existant food. Well, we asked that it be adjusted.
THEN, the food comes out. We tell the server no and we are just waiting to get the check finished out. She argues with us. I sarcastically apologize to her for our order being so late and tell her that she is, of course, right. She actually got that and did try to apologize.
As we wait for our check, see if you can guess what comes back out? Yep, the food.

We finally got our check finished and left.

It will be a long time before I walk back into that establishment.
Heck, I even finished off all of the peanuts in the bucket. THAT is how long this thing went on!

We had the same experience at Teakwoods and Arena.  I suck it up and leave zero tip.  It saves 20% added onto the bill.

I've been there twice and have fine service. Really like the options on the menu, so glad I don't have to have the same thing all the time.

I have been there a couple of times...but last night is the first time we ate. We were with Javalover and a large group. Our server Gina did a great job. Usually with a large group something goes wrong-NOPE. My burger was awesome-I said well done and it actually was and the sweet potato fries were awesome! Love that spicy ranch dipping sauce. There is such a large variety on the menu that we cannot wait to go back and try something new. We did try to eat there a few weeks ago and once we sat we had no server or menus and left for BB. But the second time was great!!!

The first time we were there took over an hour to get service.  Last night our food came out quickly.  And it was good !!!!!

Been there several times....breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have never had anything but excellent service. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I would give them another try.

Hubby and I ate at the Chandler restaurant quite a few years ago, and I remember it was good.  We finally went to the new Maricopa restaurant and were not impressed.

We went last night a little after seven, and it was packed.  To me, that was a good sign!  We waited a few minutes to be seated, no big deal.  Our server stopped by to get our drink order and brought them out promptly.  He gave us a few minutes to go over the menu, and I was really impressed with the variety of food.  Hubby ordered a cheeseburger, and I ordered the Gyro.  It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out, but I figured with all the people, there was a lot of food to cook.  Hubby said the burger was okay, and I've had better Gyros.  We both had fries and they were soggy.  Gross.

The service seemed to disappear as soon as we had our food.  When we were done with our meal, the waiter walked by three or four times before finally asking if we wanted our check.  Never once as he walked by did he acknowledge us.  Kind of frustrating to be ignored like that.

We'll most likely give it one more try.

We have been there several times and enjoyed it. Never been to the other locations. It's a good option, but I think Native New Yorker has better service. It's nice to actually have options! I also think you can never go wrong with Sunrise Cafe... good food and great friendly service every time.

Was there last night and all was well in the world. Good service and very good wings. Margarita was not bad either.

Yeah I'm sure it has to do with the specific servers and not Teakwood in general.  Most people I've talked to have great things to say about Teakwood.  But what do I know.......I've never eaten there.    Maybe me and the wife will check it out this weekend.

Went Saturday afternoon. Service was jiffy-quick and food was adequate for this establishment. Thought the price of sodas was a tad high though. Overall Grade - B.

Went last night, the service was non-existent and the food was mediocre.

The 'philly' consisted of DRY meat product with a melted slice of white chesse, green/red peppers on a sub roll.  The curly fries were very good.  The burger was very good as well.

The waiter had 6 or 7 tables which was about 4 more than he could handle.  If he was hoping to make more tip$ with more tables, then he should get better tips from less tables and be farther ahead.

Face it! You guys have very little options in Maricopa, when it concerns going out to eat.
The service may/may not suck, but you guys keep going there and it's almost always crowded.
I doubt all the bad talk is going to effect their business...

Sad as it is to admit, I will be back.  Its not like we have a lot of choice here.  When going out to eat in Maricopa, it really is picking the less of the evils.

At least tipping is optional.

The wait staff shouldn't be stiffed tips if the problem lies with the kitchen and management.

A waiter/waitress doesn't decide which tables they are to cover for service.

That decision comes from management.

Yes, they should be stiffed.  If you continue to tip them , you are just reinforcing their bad behavior.

Tipping is for service.  No service = No tip
