Ruby, WHAT??? You finished three more? I couldn't even get past row 6. I got stuck and I've been there ever since. //grumble

Chris, if it makes you feel any better, the sweater itself looks beautiful so far! Now hurry, two more weeks......

Also, I took your crochet hook with me by mistake. I'm going to drop it off along with that book before I leave. Maybe I'll bring the pineapple material with me...

I came home and my husband was watching football, so I sat down and crocheted. It was much quicker the next 3 times. I just need a little help with the last 2 rows. Hopefully, Chris, you can help me on Saturday.

No problem, Ruby. I'm so proud of you!

Jenny, remember I work full-time now. So, drop by after 4:30 or just leave it in a bag by the front door.

Ditto what Monica and Ruby said. Unfortunately, I won't be able to be there on Sat., 8/25. It's my sister-in-law's birthday party that day. I did get the sweater all finished. I'm still not thrilled with the way it looks on me. I sure hope it fits her, because it's going to be a cold day in July before I tackle that thing again! Now, I've got to get going on an afghan for my nephew-to-be who is due around Dec. 7th.

All I know is that you have to back and pick it up. However, I don't know how to do that! Sorry. :^(

Demonica- were you able to figure out how to pick up the stitch?
Here are some sites to help:

Let us know how it turns out.
Yikes.
I HATE dropped stitches.

I spoke to Denise last night. She's probably not going to be attending on Saturday either. I told her she could go without me, but she didn't seem to want to do that.

As far as I know, I will be there on Sat. Monica, did you get you stitch picked up? If you want, I can come over for a few minutes to show you how. It's really not too hard. My husband is playing golf today. Chris, glad you got the sweater done. I started making a Pooh stuff animal, and have gotten stuck. Since Chris, you aren't going to be there Sat., maybe Jenny or some of the other ladies can help me out.

Oh, I'm so sorry I can't help you, Ruby. Sure hope someone else can. But if no one can, email me, and maybe we can get together on Sunday and figure it out.

I'm planning on attending on Saturday BUT.....my husband just told me that he has to attend meetings in the morning so I have to ask the boys if they would be willing to babysit for me.

Chris, please tell Denise that I would be happy to pick her up and drop her off if that would help.

I forgot how scary some people are to drive with in NY. I almost finished that blanket from pure fear, crocheting madly sitting in the back with the baby as an excuse, while saying a rosary I didn't know I remembered.....

What's the cost to get a banana hammock knit?
