Alert | Count me in!! I was just back east to visit family last week. Had a porkroll, egg and cheese at the diner (at 11 o'clock at nght), and in the morning, I stopped at Wawa and had a cawfee and buttered roll!!!! Stayed at my parents house on Long Beach Island and watched my nephew check the crab traps every 10 minutes off our dock. | |

Alert | I grew up in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Used to love my vacations to Wildwood and Cape May. Especially used to love the May and September car shows in Wildwood. I could spend the rest of my life on the top of the Cape May lighthouse.
I'll get back to the east coast someday. I love it here but it just doesn't feel quite like home. Maybe in about 5 years we'll be ready to go.
I really miss my Curry Donuts coffee (they make it for you, you get a free donut and its only $1.30!!!), Sheetz, Tastykakes, Cheesesteaks, wings (with blue cheese, not ranch!) and pizza that doesn't suck especially. Last time I went home we drove, and the trunk of the car was loaded down with turkey hill iced tea, nardones pizza, tastykakes and so on. | |

Alert | | I grew up in Allentown PA. Loved the shore.....Luckily we get to go back once a year to visit family. I loved Turkey Hill ice tea also, and tastykakes...When we first moved to AZ about 5 years ago, walked into a Bashas somewhere is PHX and they were selling Tastykakes!!! I could hardly believe my eyes, bought some and mmmm felt just like home. Sorry to say I haven't seen them since. | | | |
