I headed over to Michaels, but nothing 'jumped out' at me. I am going to try again later this week. <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>

Yay!
So, do we have a head count, and a date/time to meet? <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>

Count me in for both the 21st and the 28th. Just need an address and directions for how to get there. Sure hope I won't be the only crocheter there!<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'>

Why is it that the emoticons don't always show up? Anybody know?

I don't know why emoticons don't show up for you.....it's so hard to read many of the posts because of it!

Here's a smile for you, Chris.

I'll be knitting the first day but I'm a crochet-er at heart and most of my projects are crocheted.

Maybe we could plan one for an evening, Darci, or you could tell us the date of a Saturday that you wouldn't be working the night before?

I'd be open to having an evening meeting once in a while. I thinks that's a great idea so that we can include more people. Maybe we could alternate between Saturdays and evenings. Still need an address/directions for the first meeting. Is it still going to be at Demonica's house, and is she still Demonica? <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/shocked.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Shocked' align='absmiddle'>

Okay, I found demonica's post on the previous page with her email. So, I will email her to get directions, etc. Chalk it up to a senior moment.

i have had the devil's own time getting onto this new forum. i think this is only the second time i have been able to access it. yup, we're still on for saturday next at my house. my address is 44894 w. garvey ave., kinda behind the dairy queen. phone number is 868-6755 if anyone needs actual directions. i'm gonna just go ahead and pick, let's say 10:00 until everyone gets bored with it and goes home. what is up with the craft's swap for this weekend? is it on or off, do we know? someone please let me know.

ok, i was counting chairs in my living room. if we use kitchen chairs too, i think there's seating room for about 12 people. do we have a head count for who is coming yet? i have one regular sized coffee maker, if someone wanted to bring a second one, we'd have a whole lot more coffee. also, i think i only have 4 coffee mugs, so bring along your travel mugs if you got 'em. i'll do coffee and it's necessary trimmings. i also have tea, cuz that's what i drink. would anyone like to bring muffins, donuts or other munchie snacks?

If you ever have like an evening or Saturday morning or even a Sunday get together, I'd love to be a part of it!

My hubby's gone a lot, so someone's gotta stay home w/the kiddos! <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/wink.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Wink' align='absmiddle'>

I'm going to bring something breakfast-y, too, so don't worry about a thing demonica. The offer of your house is enough.

It was nice meeting you today!

I won't be able to make this meeting, but I am still interested! There is a group called Stitch 'n B*tch. There is also a book. I briefly belonged to the group in L.A., but they met up too far from my house.
