 Alert | I hope it's ok to post this here and not have to do it in the personals area. Looking for some sports friends, Madden players, and just good people.
Hey guys, here goes:
I'm looking to make new friends in the area. Anyone out there just getting by in life, with few contacts outside of your immediate family? Anyone out there just looking for someone cool to hang out with? Here's me:
I am recently out of the Navy after 5 years good service. I am originally from the Detroit area. I am married, with 2 small kids, one teenager back in Michigan, 2 dogs, and a cat. I am a HUGE sports fan, football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf...etc... I have been recently labeled as being "metrosexual" by my wife. However I am not in the greatest of shape. I am not fat, just carrying a few extra marriage pounds. I do like to dress decent, not really a suit and tie kind of guy. I actually dress my wife, and pick out all her clothes when we go shopping, her shoes, and accessories as well. I must have gotten this from growing up around so many women in my life. I am not gay, or bi, so dont fret. My wife is a very loving woman, and is quite subserviant, not in a bad way. I'm not the iron fist kinda guy, just a bit old fashioned when it comes to household roles. She is a stay at home mom, and does day care out of our home. I have a decent job, but nothing extravagant. We're not rolling in the money, but not completely broke. We are living week to week, and trying hard to catch up. We are simple folk, we love tv, movies, good music, good food, and good company. I love video games, mostly sports games, PS2. Love Madden football. I recently made a nice purchase of a big screen TV, and home theatre system...very exciting. I get the football package every year. Love my home team Lions, Colts, and I guess the Cardinals now. Dont worry I didnt jump on the Colts bandwagon, been following them since the mid 90's when Harbaugh took them to the AFC championship game. I am very easy to get along with, kinda emotional, and consider myself intelligent. I just volunteered to coach kids sports through the Maricopa Parks and Rec dept. It's a great way to get out and have some fun, and give something back. I'm hoping to play on a softball team this fall as well. I smoke cigarettes, rarely drink, but enjoy a good beer, love coffee, and I hate people that are late. I value a good friendship more than almost anything in this world. I am very loyal to my friends. I have 2 good people in my life, outside of my family, neither of whom live in Arizon, and would do anything for them at any time. I am a man of my word, and tell it like it is. Well if you've made it this far, I commend you. If you are in a similar position as me, and looking for a good friend, lets talk.

Alert | Welcome to Maricopa!! Hang around on the website and I am sure that you will meet some wonderful people and make some great friendships! We often plan get togethers and are very social, infact there are a bunch of us going to the Ramsey's 80's party next friday - hope to see you there! | |
