My husband has been wanting a bonsai tree for a long time now and I want to get him one. I don't know much about them but I started reading "The Encyclopedia of Bonsais" my hubby has. Does anyone know where to buy a nice one? I looked on ebay but am nervous about buying something like that from ebay. I want a healthy tree. Thanks, April

It might be more fun (and a whole lot less expensive) if you got him the tools....a guide ...and a specimen he could "bonsai" from scratch ...does he want and indoor or outdoor one?

Here's a link http://www.phoenixbonsai.com/PhxBSWing.html

Indoor. Yes, it would be fun to do that but I am afraid we wouldn't do something right and kill it before it got to be a tree. I'll check out the website! Thanks:-)

I have been doing searches online to buy bonsai trees and have found that Red Envelope sells them! I have purchased things from them before, very high quality! I will probably buy one from them but am still going to look a few more places.
