We need our backyard landscaped. We are looking for a company that does a good job and is affordable. We also want them to be licensed, bonded, and insured. Has anyone had a good experience?

I have also heard H&N does a great job.

We used Grand Slam Landscaping, and have REALLY liked them. In fact, when we were having problems with our front landscaping - but THOUGHT it was the back landscaping, they have come out and helped us - no charge. . . . they had our yard in and finished in 2 days, it was started within a week of our 1st payment. (50% down, 50% when finished). The price was the lowest of 5 companies that I called - although I did not call H&N. They were friendly, and well worth the cash!!!!!

Just an FYI... H&N is in UNSATISFACTORY standing with the Better Business Bureau. They also have multiple complaints against them with the R.O.C with one of the complaints still being unresolved. Make sure you check out every company you get a bid from with both the BBB and the R.O.C.

Not only checking with BBB but also personally interview the companies. When interviewing ask for references. Even take it as far as "how do you resolves issues". After all that if you feel that your getting your monies worth go for whatever company your gut is telling you.

They are ALL good and bad. It really all is how each person handles it. There hardly is anything that ever goes smoothly, without a glitch or without a headache. You just have to do what is good for you and no one else.

I had a few issues with H&N but I'll tell you what they knew that I wanted it resolved and they did resolve it immediately without any hassles or questions.

You never know till you talk with them.

No matter who you select, it is wise to check with the AZ Registrar of Contractors and the Better Business Bureau to make sure the Co. hired is reliable. Just a few words of wisdom!

Besides from checking with the BBB, it is wise to check with the ROC to make absolutely sure that any company is properly licensed, insured, bonded and doesn't have complaints against them. Isn't this wise before hiring anyone?
