Looks like we have some sort of gathering of bees in one of our trees in the back yard. Anyone have any idea (with experience with this) on who to call.....?

What type of tree are they in or attracted to?

It is our brazillian pepper tree. Its crazy cause just a few weeks ago it was sort of leaning a little bit (one of the little posts broke off) from the winds of a monsoon. I went out there to mess with it and there wasnt any sign of bees or anything. So, this has happened pretty quickly. I guess I never thought it could happen so fast!

Could be just a swarm taking a rest....if so they should move on soon..
But if it appears they are building a nest or they are flying in and out of an opening in the tree then I would call a pest company....
Either way don't get too close!

Bee Careful! (sorry couldn't resist)

UPDATE! So strange. We had just gotten off the phone with a bee expert and he said they might be taking a rest. I had no idea bee's did this.....and the looks of it yesterday did not look like bee's "resting". He said they may move on within 24 hours. Again, I didnt believe it. But low an behold, husband went out to see them........and they have moved. Im glad they are gone....since removal started at $495! Thanks for all your help! garden glow, you were right!

Glad they're gone....don't go poking around for a few days though, just in case there are a few stragglers left behind...
I stand by the golden rule..don't mess with them and they won't mess with you!
