Could someone please tell me where this is located?

I don't know

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Bob is great at Leaf and Feather. They do not warrenty their plants due to the fact that they are all native grown and adapt well after planting. That comes straight from the horses mouth! And no they don't do the planting for you! I have not had one thing die on me that I purchased from them. Lowes and HD on the other hand, I have lost everything I bought from them!!! Well, I have not lost my Crepe Myrtles and they came all the way from HD in NC.

No they do not do the planting...... but they have someone that helps them on the farm from time to time and they highly recommend him...stay local...buy from the locals...only way more bus. and more choices will become available...I have never seen a "sickly specimen"on their farm so I wouldn't worry too much...besides you can ALWAYS call them for advice on what you've purchased.....

hey, tortosa guy...did you take care of those white flies ??? The amphids are having a hey day because of the humidity.....they're EVERYWHERE!

twostep...us too!!!!

I must have had just plain bad luck. I rarely had bad luck with plants I bought in NC form Lowes or HD. I don't know. Strange.

I've lived here for three years now and have yet to go to Leaf and Feather Farm. My wife bought a tree from them last year for our house, but a friend of ours picked it up while I was at work. We're going to replace a tree out front with a different tree and we will absolutely be going out there in the next couple of weeks to check out what they have.

Now I have to see what the HOA will allow....bastards.

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.

We went one time and DH was so impressed that he still talks about it. Great guys run it and their little 'zoo' is a delight. Bring the kids. I think their gorgeous Dobie is one of OBG's pups.

TG...read what I posted under Suggestions and tips...about staking trees...

I wouldn't bother with the pests...the lantanas have peaked and will soon benefit from a rejuvenating prune...lawns will soon need to be fertilized and seeded...

Curious....what was it that caught your interest in gardening??

Okay - - I am a firm believer is using The Leaf and Feather Farm for all your planting needs. Bob is INCREDIBLY knowledgable. My husband and I did our front and back yard for a fraction of the price you will pay at Lowe's, Moon Valley, and Home Depot. The customer service you receive on top of the low price is the icing on the cake, not to mention that you don't have to drive 30 miles. My neighbor was looking at desert cactus and we went to Moon Valley - - young guy (just out of HS I assume) gave complete incorrect information regarding the care of certain species of cactus - - we went to see Bob he explained all the correct care for each plant she purchased. He does not skimp on care and attention to customer needs.

Okay - - I will stop now....BUT don't forget you have the added bonus of seeing all of the animals when you visit! Great for the kids!

I agree! Bob is great, takes time to explain the tricks of AZ Gardening, very knowledgeable. Bought plants for a reasonable price. I picked up 6 of their Hybrid Palms and love it. My kids enjoy visiting the animals. My Daughter wouldn't stop talking about the Horses Jesse and Sarah.

Leaf and Feather is the best. We buy plants and trees from them. However, they are not the best on cactus.. Way overpriced on cactus and limited selection. Best for Cactus is up on Southern Avenue just east of I10. You can buy three up their for what one costs at Leaf and feather. Over 10,000 cactus available .All types. The guy up their knows cactus like no one i know. Works for university. . L and F gets all our leaf plant and tree business but all our cactus and we are quite Cactus lovers come from Southern avenue.

I haven't been to Leaf and Feather yet either. However, I did find H&N Landscape, right in town, sells trees and plants and does offer planting services. I dont know the specifics, but I have spoken to a few sales reps and they seem easy to work with.

I just purchased about 20 Palm trees from H and N. They delivered to my home. They gave me a 15% discount for buying more than 9 trees. I did not have them plant that was quite expensive. Does Leaf and Feather have Palms? I heard that they did not.
