Ours look great, too! We have three in our yard and are so glad we put them in. Since we're selling our house the flowers are giving our house better curb appeal than most of the houses on the street right now! I think I'll raise my selling price! LOL.

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

What is the water usage of these plants? Do they need a dedicated drip line?

We had all three of them, plus our other 15 plants and two trees hooked up on one drip line. I don't know how much water the plant uses, but our total water bill went up about $10/mo with approx 40 plants and 1000 sq ft of grass.

They seem to be the only thing we can keep alive.

I am ready to rip out my lantana in the front, and just put in all Texas Sage.

they are very hardy plant and bloom within 10 days after a rain. I cant have them because we have too many that are extreamly allergic to bees and the bees really love the flowers.

I don't think they require much water. At our old house, we couldn't keep them alive, turns out we were over watering

My neighbor has some in their front yard and haven't watered them in months. Their drip line got cut and they haven't fixed it yet. Their plants are huge now.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I want to run a dedicated drip line to one. I was hoping it can get enough residual water from a line to a tree that's about 7 feet away. Anybody think that this would be possible?

Thanks for letting me know what this plant is called. My husband loves the way they look, and wants to plant some at our new house once it is built.
