I was told there is a "batch" difference in the color of our roofing tiles. The color really looks different but I was told it's the same color and code # from the roofing company. Do I have any recourse to get them to change this, I'm still under the builder home warranty. Has this happened to anyone else?

They are who we thought they were!

They come in different shades, called dye lots. The ROC doesn't specify anything about necessary repairs needed for dye lot difference. What did your warranty rep for your builder say? I would request a manufacture representative come out because you believe the color difference is a manufacture defect. It's going to be hard to get anything done because it's purely a cosmetic concern, and the structural integrity is not compromised. And depending on your builder, cosmetic defects are only under warranty for a short amount of time. Good luck!

You are wasting your time.  No 2 batches will ever match 100%.  Get used to the different colored tiles.
