Anyone using the time of use plan?  Can you share with us what you think about that plan compared to the regular plan of using electricity?

I have used both time of use and on demand time of use.

Biggest concern is remembering to shut off as many uses of elect. when the meter starts the high dollar charges.  Winter time is esp. economical.  Our elect. bill on a even montly billing was about 100 a month and we had elect heat, a/c; but a propane stove/hot water heater/dryer.  our KWH charge was overall about 8.5 cents a KWH.  With gas and propane at an all time high time of use makes much more sense.  you can put your hot water heater on a timer to coinside with the cheaper rates.

This is in a poorly insulated, but new mobile home over a six year period.

I really love the TOU (Time of Use) program.  Believe it or not, my May bill was $31.00.  For a 1600+ s.f. home.  That's right.  To be fair, I do not use my dryer, have extra insulated my home, have sunscreens (although my backyard - west exposure - is not done), and have shutters.   Windows/shutters are closed upon sun shining on them, my home is bright so use very little lamp/bulb energy, cook (using oven), do laundry, etc. ONLY from 9pm-9am or on weekends.

I unplug EVERYTHING when not in use - even those things you have turned off USE ENERGY (supposedly from what I've read ... they are called "instant on" appliances) unless they are unplugged.  My gas bill is around $15 per month, during the warm months.  Really telling will be my June bill - have not received it yet.  I sure hope there was not a mistake - I keep thinking there is and I'll receive a $200 bill the next month.  I did call ED3 and they insisted everything was tested and working properly on meter, as they did not believe it either ... We'll see.

Just got our first TOU bill. We have a 2500 square foot home. We saved 100 dollars compared to the same month last year.

Congrats!  That is quite a savings.

Care to share the KW hours used on Peak?  On off Peak?  Should be about a 60-40 split.

Don't count on your savings being final. ED3 called me last week and said their manufacturer messed up the reading on the TOU meters. They said I owed $444 for the past two months and this was with a 25% discount for the issues. What a crock. Are they regulated by any government entities so you can file a complaint?

They are who we thought they were!
