How long do you run your filters to your pool?  We have a Paddock 10,000 gallon pool and run our filters for 8 hours.

I run my pumps for 8 hours as well, and I have a 20K gallon pool. I cut it back a little in the "winter", but come summer it runs for at least 8 hours a day. Speaking if which, I think I need to clean them this weekend...

Ask DH and he said 8 hours for now is fine.  When summer hits you should run it for 12 hours.

I used to think mine had to run every day; but now I run them for 4 hours every 2 or three days and use clorine tabs always.  Pool still looks great. 14000 gallons.

I cut back in the winter too, I usually run mine for 6-8 hours in the summer. I set the timer to do like 4 hours during the day and and another 2 or 4 at night. But thats just what works for me. Hope this helps.
