Alert | I will be there with the Stormtroopers and other Star Wars Characters!!! I doubt you would want to carpool though, since we have to get there at 6:00am to suit up ;-) Anyone who is on the fence about attending this event who likes STAR WARS should come see us!!! I just checked our garrison forums, and it looks like we may actually have a half decent turnout, despite the early morning starting time :-)

Alert | LOL, that sounds fun!! I have seen Star Wars characters at other marathons too. Is this a nationwide group or just a coincidence?
So I guess no one else is running it?! Anyone? Bueller?

Alert | Probably the same group... there is an Arizona garrison that does events in Phoenix and Tucson, but we are actually part of a world-wide legion of... well... Star Wars Geeks in costume ;-)

We were at the MS Walk fairly recently - that's one of our biggest events of the year. I think we raised like $7,000 for Phoenix Children's Hospital. We also do stuff with other children's hopsitals, as well as other charity foundations like Make-A-Wish. | | | |
