I liked going there. Only a few times that all machines were taken, but that was very rare. Brian and Tony were available to answer questions. The few classes I attended were fun and taught by talented teachers.

Only thing that would have been better, imo, would have been a pool for water aerobics.

Do a search on this topic. There was a pretty long thread about both Anytime and Extreme a few months back. I have belonged to both - still belong to Anytime. Although they are both small gyms, you can get a good workout at either. Brian from Anytime has went out of his way to provide good customer service which is important to me. Plus, I think Anytime maintains the equipment a little better. IMO

Wait for Mountain Side to open.

valuable to those with hairy schedules....

Anytime stays very clean and has enough to get a good work out ... also there is many different locations that you can use if you happen to be in another state or city...

I am usually not one for bashing customer service or businesses but I had a bad experience with Anytime. I thought that they would have better service. Heres my story: I went in to sign my husband up for a gym membership. I paid the fee and signed the contract. While signing the contract the man told me that if I chose to cancel the membership I could do so within 3 days to receive a refund. When I told my husband that I got him a membership he decided that maybe now is not the right time for us financially to do a membership with any gyms. So I went in to cancel my membership. The man was very nice and told me he would deposit the money back into my account within 7 to 10 days. 10 Days later the money had not been deposited. I called and he said he would have that done by the end of the day. Again, no deposit. I called again and he said the owner would write me out a check and it would be ready for me to pick up.\. I went in a week later, after being out of town, to find out that he had never written me out a check. I had to then go back and pick the check up later that evening. I finally received the check. It had been a month! I'm not bashing the sales representative, I know it may not have been his fault but I just thought that they would have better service to their customers. This is just my story and may never happen to you but I thought you should know.

Because this is a nice gym gives good service to its customers...this chick is whining about service when in her own words didn't even have the money to go to the gym...they got her refund a week later and she still complains...Jason its kinda like the call center you work at you sell a chick a year supply of lubrication she calls you back the next day and says oh I didn't have the money it may take a while to get you the money back...you should understand. no I dont work there if that is what you are implying in fact if you ever went there you would see they have one employee--->joe

A) I don't work in a call center
B) I do go there, what does one employee have to do with anything?

If a company says that they're going to get their money back to you in x number of days, they should do it. A month later is certainly too long, don't you think?

For the record, I am not whining I was simply answering a question. "Good, bag, ugly?" I gave my experience and was letting "monkey" decide for themselves. I personally am glad that I chose to cancel my service, If they cant be responsible enough to get me my money back in time then how can I trust them to debit my account correctly each month. I am not knocking the employee, he was very nice, but the situation could have been handled sooner. I was told I would get it within 7 to 10 days. Period. It should have been delivered by the 10th day. It was not. Any business should not take a month to get a refund check. And for the record I never even got a check. After all of the waiting for the owner to write me a check he just decieded to give me cash. Why couldnt he have done that in the first place insted of saying "I have to wait for the owner to write you out a check". Look I am merely expressing my situation, I personally will never use them as a source of a gym. The fact that my husband and I decided not to continue service with them should not play a role in the matter. They are a business, I should expect to be treated professionally.

And as far as me being a "non-customer"...I considered myself a customer until I got my money back. Wouldnt you??
