 Alert | If there was no Studio Charme where would you go and who would you recommend?
Now I know most people love Karla and Greg, but if they were not available where would you go.

NAILS AND HAIR
I can only tell you where I go and it is not in Maricopa. I couldn't find anyone in
Copa that I liked or in Phoenix for that matter. By luck I go to Gracie in Casa Grande. I have short hair and she
cuts it just like I want for $12. I looked for 4 years for the right cut and she does it.
That's my take on the subject.
I get my nails done in Casa Grande too. I am picky about my hair
and nails. The guy in Casa Grande does a fantastic job on nails and is more reasonable even
than anyone in Copa....the nails he does are perfect. I have been having my nails done
for 10 years and he is A #1 in my book....very satisfied.

When I first read this I was a wee bit scared...I thought you were saying they were gone...
I could not live without Karla or Greg!!!

Alert | | I agree- they are fun, but it is very hard to get in with them. I use Toni and Guy in Chandler. Now- they really know how to cover those nasty little grey hairs that pop through every now and then. They are not as pricey as Studio Charme either. I go to Michelle and Abbey. They are absolutely hip and do a fantastic job with highlights and low lights. | |

Alert | Charmed, your response was way out of line as a business owner. If there are problems with another customer, you are not doing yourself any favors by airing out your dirty laundry to the world. I will not ever utilize your services solely because of this response, it was extremely unprofessional and makes me wonder if you talk about all your customers this way. Not everyone will be happy with every business, but if owners call their customers names and ranted the way you do, they will lose a lot more business than they earn.
I just figured M&M wanted something different, tastes change, I didn't realize it was because of your problem that you chose to advertise. Had you kept it professional and not responded no one probably would have known there was a problem. | |

Nor have I ever bashed you or your salon.
I am just looking for better service, nothing more was said.
Smigon, your assumptions are valid.
I am merely looking for someone new to meet my standards of customer service.
I have yet to have someone tell me, a bride should not have the best on her wedding day.

Alert | | Karla is the sweetest and most talented person I know. She is awesome with hair! She has poured her heart and soul into her business. I truly believe that in her heart that she was just telling the facts about a situation. She cares deeply about the people of Maricopa! For her to respond to this post was a knee jerk reaction, one does not know until you have a business how much you pour yourself into it. Alert | | Class is what Karla is all about! What do you expect, yes people have a right to their opinions but, do you realize how hard it is to start and run your own business. For this wedding....if you go to any upscale salon you will have to pay twice that for travel expenses. Plus, they would have to block a whole day out for the event. So they would miss other potential clients $$$$$. Traveling to Wildhorse would be about 20 minutes there and back and 347 traffic is a bear so it would be more like 25 -30 minutes! M&M you can't expect to get quality for free! Don't be a spoiled bride! Karla would have made your day amazing and she is definately worth alot more than the extra $100 (thats a bargain)!!!Karla strives to be the best and I feel she does this everyday! She is a very kind person but, she is human too! I think she has the right to express how she feels too! M&M, although you didn't say anything about what exactly happened you insinuated (spelling) that you weren't happy so of course people are going to ask! The prices at her salon are very reasonable. If you want a $12 hairstyle go to Great Clips so you can get your cookie cutter hairdo! I love you Karla keep doing what your doing! Don't let the few bad apples bring you down! Alert | | Another tid bit, I feel everyone should have to work in the customer service industry in their lifetime and see how truly difficult it is! Yes, you choose your career path but, let me tell you it is very hard to try and please everyone and there are some people out there you will never make happy! Even when you do choose a Customer Service related job you still deserve respect and lets face it people can be a pain in the booty at times but, Karla definately tries to make everyone happy so lets give her the kindness and respect she deserves because she always makes me look like a hot mama and alot of others too! | | | |

There are many that feel that Karla rocks as far as hair cutting- styling hair.
Karla also has great customer service and is very sweet but all that having been said
we all know everyone ! can't like her style of cutting and styling hair so it is
nice to have some other choices. So the original posed question was a worthwhile one.
I have gone to Karla one time and it just didn't work out but that doesn't
mean that it would not for others. I think there was a problem with communication
and her not understanding what I wanted.
As women we all need to support others--- we know that when we work togehter
everyone wins - there are no winners in this conversation. Truly there are not !
So let's take a different attitude in Maricopa...shall we. Women need to help women.

Hi Pigsrule ! I know you are happy to have Karla - I remember how it was to be without someone
I could trust. Hair is a big deal.
It's a shame people have had to be insulted and hurt by what this thread has revealed and in the
name of business I still feel it is & was unnecessary.
What was brought out has nothing to do with whether Karla is good at her trade or not. We all
know by now that Karla is great for so many.
Let's all have a wonderful Christmas and be thankful for our land of freedom.

Alert | WHOA I think M&Ms ORIGINAL post was FISHING for trouble...That said as a business owner (and I have had my own business in the beauty field dealing with customers in a similar fashion) to see someone go on a public forum and fish for dirt is unbelievable. SO M&M had an issue with Karla. WHY didnt she just do search on here and see what others have said about the other salons? Because she knew if she asked for a Good hairstylist everyone would have said Karla (and Greg) at Studio Charme thats why! It seems to me she was looking for trouble and now she got it!
That said SMIGON have you EVER gone to Karla? I do think Karla should not have given the time of day to M&M...But I believe Karla cares so much about her business and she could see what M&M was doing that it REALLY bothered her! YES she should have called her on it or PM'd her to get to the bottom of it Karla also posted that she regretted it.
I doubt this is going to effect those of us who adore and love Karla...and as far as I am concerned YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! You pay 12 you get a 12 haircut! Eveyone who meets me ask me where I go for hair because they like what the see!
Also I used to do make up for weddings...I charge them what I would have made for that day in salon (which was an average of $50.00 an hour) SO if I was doing a Bride and her wedding party it was 50 an hour - min 3 hours! then there was travel expenses if it was 20 miles away
M&M you really should have talked to Karla yourself and if that wasnt an option for you their is always Hair Focus and Guy & Gals....You really didnt need to come on here and post ANYHING. And as a Business owner (and that means ANY business owner in this CITY) should not respond to any post similar to this. I do believe Karla has learned her leason and the leson that You cannot please EVERYONE all the time.
Karla WE love you and could not imagine going anywhere else in this city for our hair care needs!!! | | | |
