I just moved here from Iowa and I need to know where I can go to get my hair colored and cut. I usually do highlights and color and I just need a trim. Are there any good places in maricopa or do I have to drive to Awahatukee? I have heard about the salon behind panda express and Studio Charm. Are they any good?

STUDIO CHARME!!!! They are fabulous! Don't waste your time driving to Awahatukee. Greg did my last hair cut and color and I love it!

I got a fabulous cut from Greg yesterday. We didn't do color but we discussed what he would do if he did it and he seemed very focused on a natural look, which I appreciate.

I also know a stylist who lives in Maricopa who gave me my best cut in years. She works privately. You can PM me for her number if you'd like.

Is studio Charm exspensive? I need a partial highlight and a color and cut. Around how much should I look to spend?

All their prices are listed on their website at www.studiocharme.com. Karla and Greg are fantastic!

Thanks i just checked them out. They are a bit to much for me. I am used to paying around 50 for the color, 60 for the highlights and 35 for the cut. How about that place behind panda. Are they any cheaper? Or has any one tried any where else?

I just got a PM and they said that Bobbi and Ellen at guy and gal salon is good. has any one tried them? Are they good with color and cuts? They seem to be more in my price range.

I was going to give my vote to Studio Charme, too. I do have to admit, I haven't been there personally, but that's because I have very basic hair to cut (seriously, how hard is it to take a 1/2 inch off the bottom and trim my bangs?). But if you're more fashionable than I am - who isn't! - I've heard nothing but good about them. Even my decidedly low-maintenance roomie had his hair cut there, and loved their work.

Karen from Hair Focus is great! I like the way she cuts my hair. I'm not sure of their prices for coloring, but she charges $35 for a shampoo and cut. They are listed here in the business directory under Beauty Salons. I have an appointment with her tomorrow to have my hair cut. She's great, just give her a call or stop in to check out their prices. They are located on Honeycutt in that strip mall there.

I use Bobbie at the Guy and Gal Salon. She is awesome. I get highlighted and cuts, I think I spend about $90-$110 depending on if you are getting full head or partial, I guess. She is very up to the style and I have never been unhappy. She uses the front chair, tall, blonde, just had a new baby. I think she said her new schedule is Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturdays. Give her a try I am sure you will be happy. I have heard good stuff about the guy there also but have never been myself.

I would have to vote for Studio Charme. Karla & Greg are absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable about their products as well as the latest fashion. Karla is very nice, sweet & understanding. She does wonderful work.

FamilyFirst86, I think that if you ever get a chance you should go to Studio Charme and at least meet Karla and ask about her prices. Even though you might not use her at least you will have another option if you ever do need it. GOOD LUCK!

I would totally recommend Cost Cutters.

But ONLY I mean ONLY go to SUE!

She is the greatest.
I usually go to Dolce at the mall...but since I found her I ALWAYS use her.
she is amazing.

Go luck with your search!

Familyfirst ... if you want a good haircut at a reasonable price, you should try Country Stylin. Janinie does a very good haircut for a reasonable price. Everybody raves about Studio Charme. I called and left a message to schedule an appointment, actually I left 2 and my calls were not returned. Have tried Karen at Hair Focus some communication problems there. I wanted highlights; I got mostly blonde hair.
