 Alert | We have 50 donors so far. The drive is only 12 days away. If you can donate blood, please sign up soon. If you are one who likes to walk in, do so in the afternoon.
The Knights of Columbus, with United Blood Services, are again sponsoring a blood drive at the Maricopa High School Cafeteria, on Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The cafeteria is located at 45012 W Honeycutt Avenue. .
In Appreciation, all blood donations will be cholesterol tested. In addition, all donations through UBS, from June 1 through August 31, will be entered to win a new 2007 Saturn AURA.

Alert | Because of the high temperatures, United Blood Services has asked me to remind everyone to be well hydrated by the time you give blood On Saturday. So, drink plenty of water beginning now. Also, don't forget to eat breakfast or lunch that day, before you come to the drive.
Thank you all who have pledged to donate, and those who haven't but will walk-in on Saturday.
UBS told me that most organizations don't have blood drives in the summer. I am hoping that Maricopa shows them that we do care.
