 Alert | | I tried to get a support group started about 6 months ago in Maricopa. I am Bipolar and my daughter has Schizoaffected disorder. It is hard to manage her moods at her age (16). I was diagnosed at 17 and with meds and therapy have this pretty under control. People can live a very happy productive life with Bipolar. Families are affected the most because our moods are taken out on people the closest to us. Even with my daughters disorder we hold her accountable for her actions. I would say to anyone that thinks they can't live with someone Bipolar they haven't found the right combination to make it work. My Daughter is very loving and caring but can have horrible mood swings. PM me if anyone would like to start a support group. Thanks | | | |
