Welcome to the website of the East Valley, AZ Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network! Our upcoming chapter is a newly forming group of holistic moms from throughout the Tempe area. We welcome all area moms (and dads) with an interest in natural health and mindful parenting. Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests. Our chapter will kick-off its activities with an Open House on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at Changing Hands Bookstore located at 6428 S McClintock Drive in Tempe. Come on out and help us to get the chapter started, get connected to other like-minded moms and dads, and catch the excitement of our new community! *The Open House is free and open to the public and we encourage expectant parents, grandparents, caregivers, parents, and children to attend!* Grandparents, partners, and other caregivers are also welcome as members into our organization! Even future parents will find that our organization is a great place to learn and make new friends! Moms-to-be and new moms are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and seek to be informed. This looks great! I raised my kids on organic foods and they are raising theirs that way too. Like all things it tends to become generational, and Organic living/holistic lifestyle is a good thing to be generational. Here's wishing you good success and hope to see a local chapter here in Maricopa real soon. If my 20 plus years of practical application skills can be of help, please let me know.

the east valley chapter is for everyone, as it will be the first chapter in az. i imagine once the group gets to be too big for one meeting, we'll break up into other areas.

The Kick-off Meeting for the Metro Phoenix Chapter of the Holistic Mom's Network was a great success! Lots of turn out, and lots of new memberships! Enough in fact that the chapter will be chartered after this first gathering! WHOOHOO!!!! There is so much information out there, and we welcome ALL parents, grandparents, expectant parents and families and anyone that can contribute/benefit from such a great group! INFORMED PARENTS MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS FOR THEIR FAMILIES! It's not all "tree hugging hippies" either, so don't be scared away. There is no judgement of your choices, just information so that you can make informed choices and be with others that have made the same choices.
