Timothy by the Buoys

I laughed and shook his hand
and made my way back home
I searched for form and land
for years and years I roamed
I gazed a gazely stare
at all the millions here
we must have died alone,
a long long time ago.

Who's using me, what should we do? Because you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too. - White Stripes

The Man Who Sold the World - Nirvana

Dark clouds file in when the moon is near
Birds fly by A.M. in her bedroom stare
There was no tellin’ what I might find
I couldn’t see I was lost at the time...
Yeah I didn’t know I was lost at the time

You know my heart keeps tellin' me
You're not a kid at thirty-three
You play around you lose your wife,
You play too long, you lose your life
Got my pills to ease the pain,
Can't find a thing to stop the rain
I'd love t'try and settle down,
But everybody's leavin' town

there seems to be an opening here, so...

I was driving home early sunday morning through bakersfield
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
And the preacher said "you know you always have the
Lord by your side"

And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you Jesus, thank you lord

I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late
And I thought by the time I got there she'd be off, she'd be
Off with the nearest truck driver she could find
Much to my surprise, there she was sittin in the corner
A little bleary, worse for wear and tear

Okay, I'm feeling a little country this morning--I watched a show on the History channel last night called "Hillbilly: The Real Story" and this song has been haunting me since. . .

I had a good friend in New York City
He never called me by my name, just hillbilly
My grandpa taught me how to live off the land
And his taught him to be a businessman
He used to send me pictures of the Broadway nights
And I’d send him some homemade wine

Okay, since there were no guesses. . . the song was "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams, Jr. How about this one. . . ?

Senses telling me you're looking
I can feel it on my skin
Boy I wonder what would happen
If I trip and let you in
Don't get shook my aggression
I just might be the one
Let's skip this conversation

No guesses for this one either. . .is it me? <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/confused.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Confused' align='absmiddle'>

Actually, I was running out of song ideas, so I asked a friend to name his current favorite song. He gave me this one. It's "Whine Up" by Kat DeLuna.

One last chance...who sings:

In some respects I suspect
you've got a respectable side
when pushed and pulled and pressured
you seldom run and hide
but it's for someone else's benefit
not for what you wanna do
until I realize that you've realized
I'm gonna say these words to you

Do you have the time
To listen to RatJuice whine
About nothing and everything
All at once
He is one of those
Melodramatic fools
Neurotic to the bone
No doubt about it

Other than the reference to RatJuice. . ."Basket Case" by Green Day. . .

If NEZ posted that, does that mean he is singing that song?
