Okay, I need to get my head around this episode before I can really comment.

Is Aaron considered an Oceanic 6? I wouldn't have thought so and why are they telling people only 8 survived the crash? I am confused about their motivation here. I can't imagine Claire giving up Aaron voluntarily, so did Kate take him? Or, did Claire have to give him up to save his life? I wonder if the other survivors are dead...but if so, why would Hurley talk about having to go back [with Jack]?

Okay, so the survivors so far: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayed, and Aaron...I guess Ben isn't considered a survivor, but likely the "world" doesn't know anything about Ben or that he was even on the island. And what did Miles mean when he said he knew who Ben was and what he could do?

There is just so much.

Oh snap! I forgot that Claires baby's name is Aaron.

Good catch!

Here's a theory: How do we not know that there are more than 6 people that get off of the island? Like, who are the people on Ben's list that he's having Sayid "take care of"?

I now think it is Lock that ends up in the coffin. Or is it Jacks dad?

Is the only way for Sayid to get off of the island to work for Ben?

I don't think that is Jack's dad in the coffin. Locke might be a good choice because it was someone no one wanted to see, but that Jack felt compelled to see for himself. If it is Locke, then it would make since that none of the other survivors went to see him because they were still very pissed at him for whatever it was he did to them while on the island. Though, I am still leaning towards Locke still being on the island, but his being in the coffin might fit too.

I am not sure about the relationship between Ben and Sayed and why Sayed has become Ben's hitman. I don't think that Sayed would do this voluntarily, so I wonder what Ben has over Sayed to get him to comply.

true, true.

BUT, Locke didn't want to leave the island so how/why is he off of the island, if that is him in the coffin.

Stupid show has me all obsessed

Okay, who saw the episode last night?? It sounds like a Bermuda Triangle kind of thing? What do you all think? I am also wondering if Daniel isn't jumping back and forth between time periods too, although he doesnt' seem to be losing consciousness like Desmond was...but it is interesting that he named Desmond has HIS constant AND he was exposed to radiation in the past. This show is getting more and more interesting. What do you guys know about the Bermuda Triangle? Isn't there a belief that it is like a time warp kind of place and that no one can find it? Anyway, just trying to revive this thread and am interested in your thoughts.

I am kind of curious to find out how you all feel about the time travel element of last nights episode? I was reading some blogs on the Lost fan website and everyone really seems to be kinda upset and let down and feel like this might be a way to be "lazy" on the show. I think they were hoping for some kind of realistic explanation to what was happening, but if it is indeed a time travel/electromagnestism answer, then that can't happen. Anyway, just wondering.

Last week's episode was one of the best so far. I think it answered a lot of questions. I always had this suspicion that the island was in some kind of time bubble, this just confirms it. I have also always thought that Penny's dad is the puppet master controlling everything. It kind of confirmed that he really is. Who else wouldn't want the crew answering Penny's call on the boat? He doesn't like Desmond and doesn't want Penny to find him. I think that is who Ben is after in the flash forwards. I believe that Penny's dad is who Sayid is after once they get off the island. I also think that Penny's dad is the head of Dharma and that's why Ben hates him.
I don't think they are in Bermuda. The guys on the boat said something about being near Fiji? Where is that? Is it close to the Bermuda triangle, cause I'm not sure. I thought last week's episode was really good and so I'm anxious to see what happens tonight. I think they will reveal the other two Oceanic 6 people. I don't think Desmond counts cause he wasn't on the plane, and Aaron I don't think counts cause he wasn't born yet, which means there should be two more. I think that it will be Jin and Sun. The reason is that everyone else was exposed to a high dose of radiation when the hatch blew up. Seeing what happens to Desmond, they could all die if they try to leave. Since Aaron is so young he doesn't really have any memories that will cause him to go back in the past. Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Jin and Sun weren't close to the hatch when it blew up so they are safe to leave. Sawyer doesn't want to leave, so that's why I think it's Jin and Sun. I'm sure that Desmond will tell them all what can happen so they may all be too scared that they could die. Unless they have a constant in both the future and past that they could focus on, then they will die. I think Juliet will leave cause she wasn't close either, but she isn't part of the Oceanic 6 cause she wasn't on the plane. I think that Jack starts to feel guilty and that's why he wants to go back to help them leave. Maybe he thinks that he could be a constant for some of them?
Maybe it's Penny's father in the coffin. There was a book on the table by his coffin and it looks a lot like the one that he got at the auction. That could explain why no one was at his funeral. They are all mad at him for keeping some of them there and of course Penny wouldn't go because he kept her from finding Desmond.
Now the question is who is that Professor guy really? I can't think of his name right now. Since Desmond went and saw him at Oxford, does he now remember that and if so, is he time traveling too? He doesn't have black outs though, so this one confuses me.
I guess we'll see what happens. Too many theories. Can't wait to see what happens tonight.

I think that Aaron is considered one of the Oceanic 6 because prior to last weeks episode, the commercials said another survivor would be revealed. And, while he wasn't technically on the flight manifest (being in utero) he is a survivor. So that would leave two more spots. I saw the lady who plays Sun on TV earlier this week...she didn't give anything away, but I don't think she makes it off the island. You make a good point about who was close to the hatch when it explodec, but does that have anything to do with who gets to leave? I thought that was solely for the Desmond-time-travel/Daniel-time-travel relationship.

I can't wait until tonight. Its getting close to season closer though. ERGH!! Darn that writers strike

I love it! There is so many different things going on with this show. Just when you think you have it all figured out

What is Ben? (You noticed I said what now who). He certainly has a lot more power than anyone has given him credit for. Did you see Hurley and Sawyer's mouths drop open? Ben just loves it and they are falling right into his plan.

This show is one of the best shows out there! Oh my~

So, Sun is a survivor and Jin is not. They totally had me going thinking they both were one of the Oceanic 6. Yet, his remains are in Korea, so does that mean he actually made it off and then died off island?

OK, Juliette deserved a little more than a slap for what she did. But, in the end, it brought Sun and Jin closer...I was even crying!

I think everyone had guessed who Ben's spy was on the boat...this is going to get very interesting.

It was cool to see Jin's Flashback and Sun's Flashforward in the same episode, kept us on our toes up until the end.

Libby's going to be in the next episode, but in Michael's (Kevin's) flashback.

I love this show. I thought the episode with Desmond and his time confusion was the best so far. I cannot stand Juliet. The actrress portrays a serious b@*$!. I cheered Sun's slap and her refusual to trust Juliet. We were told eight people survived the crash and six supposedly make it off the island. By my count, that leaves one more survivor (of the six) to be revealed. I don't know who would be considered a "main" character to the extent that the story would revolve around them-unless it is Sawyer or Clair. Clair is unlikely as she is not acting as mother to Aaron. Love this show. But thank goodness for DVR so I can fast forward through commericals.

Yes, I love DVR too. To fast forward through the commercials or to go back when I missed something.

Aren't there are only 6 survivors...the Oceanic 6. I don't remember talk about 8.

Yes, Juliette definitely seems to have something going on, but I wonder if her actions are a result of being with Ben for so long. AND who is Ben that he can cause a plane accident, completely cover it up??? I can't wait to find out more about him.

Sorry, my TiVo doesn't have time travel capabilities just yet. I guess I'll have to watch the season 4 premier and wait until April 24.
