Has anyone ever caught a fish at this park? I was just wondering as I never have. What bait is everyone using and what works best at this pond? I would really like to know. So far, I have had zero luck at this park.

Hot dogs or shrimp are the best baits to use! I see people catching fish all the time.

My 6 year old is the only one in our family of 5 that has ever caught anything there. She uses Bar S ot dogs and shrimp soaked in the powder from cherry koolaid.

It follows AZ game rules.

Adults need Lic
and kids under 14 free.

Cat fish
Talop
bass??????

Just basic stuff

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

There are catfish, carp, bluegill and maybe some tilapia. No bass.

The tilapia LOVE bread balls. If you use that as bait you will catch tons.

Remember, all fishing in Pacana Park is catch and release only. The pond is filled with recycled municipal wastewater -- you don't want to be eating those fishies.
