Alert | You will LOVE it! I go on cruises every year or two. 2 suggestions. Make sure you buy the cruise insurance. It doesn't cost much but sometimes there are emergencies (missed plane, ship or medical, found this out the hard way!) and well worth your peace of mind. 2nd is, bring some clothes that are a little big! There is so much yummy food everywhere you can't help yourself!
What cruise line are you going on? Where are you going? I know you will have a good time!

Alert | First of all, HAVE FUN! Enjoy peace & serenity & above all NO KIDS!! The food is absolutely wonderful, and if you are not into alcoholic drinks all the time, purchase the unlimited soft drinks card. It was a lifesaver to have that on our cruise last year. Make sure you put alot of sunblock on, a good digital camera, a nice bathing suit & you are set. We went to the Bahamas and it was beautiful. The scenery, the people, the culture & the FOOD! We wish you a happy and safe journey and share your beautiful pics when you get back. | | A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections.

Alert | We did a cruise tour of Alaska and a cruise in the Caribbean. Both were great. I second the unlimited soda card. Husband got a little sea sick in Alaska as the weather was not great and he couldn't get out for fresh air enough. Get the bracelets for sea sickness. You might not need them, but you never know.
The food is awesome. Check out the options for activities on the cruise layovers. Sometimes cheaper to purchase your activities before the cruise. Even if you are going somewhere warm, bring a sweater or jacket; it might rain or get chilly.
Make sure you have nice clothes for the formal dinner. They will have at least one during the cruise. Decide on early or later dinner seating. We did later as we were not always back from going ashore by the early time and I didn't want to come back early for dinner.
Take an extra empty bag to put what you buy into. That way you won't crush it by over-stuffing your bags.
Diet ahead of time, so that you feel less guilt over all of that wonderful 24/7 food.
Have fun. | | *********************** Heat beats snow!!!

Alert | Take your friend with you in a steamer trunk. That will make the cruise so much more fun.
