Alert | The new and complete redesigned Parks and Recreation Activity Guidebook, The Activator, is now available for downloading at: www.cityofmaricopa.net Please look on the left hand side of the page and you'll find the link. Please note: there is a separate link for registration forms.
We've added more classes for adults, teens and kids. You can read about Founders Day and more! We've added a community map, community calendar and more.
The actual booklet will be out on the streets on Monday. And yes, the Gin Blossoms are on the cover!

Alert | Marty - It looks great!
I would like to make a suggestion (or a request really!) With school starting again it would be nice to include some weekday Mommy and Me classes for those of us with toddlers at home.
We took mommy and me tumbling at DSPA this summer and my 18 month old loved it (the teacher...Miss Lisa I believe was awesome)
They are not offering weekday Mommy and Me classes during the fall though. Only on the weekends.
It would be so nice to be able to have activities for my littlest guy and I while the older kids are at school.
I am betting there are lots of moms out there looking for these classes too! | | If your too open minded your brains will fall out.

Alert | Thanks Nag. We'd love to offer more programs during the day time hours but the problem is available space or lack there of. We have an RFP that will hit the streets after August 21, seeking to lease commercial space. We used this approach for the City of Phoenix to provide a senior center at 51st and Elliott a few years ago.
The new issues are located at local places of business, City Hall, Library and schools. A small printing delay put us a week behind but the issue has been online since last week at www.cityofmaricopa.net (look on the left hand side).
The magazine looks really good. We're proud of it!
